Reiki for a Healthy Diet

What is your relationship with food like? Are you jumping from diet to diet? Are you struggling to figure out what is truly and really healthy for you to eat?  Do you feel tired, gassy, or bloated after eating? What really makes a healthy diet?

There are two important aspects to a healthy diet. First, eating high vibrational foods which is an organic, plant based diet. Second, noticing how your body responds to food. You’re body is constantly giving you signs to how it responds to food. They key is tune into your body and listen. A real healthy diet isn’t about counting calories but rather eating real wholesome foods that fuel your body for a healthy life!

Hi everyone. I’m Julie. I am an Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher and Founder of Jiva Reiki School. Today we are going to be doing Reiki for a healthy diet.

What is your relationship with food like? Are you jumping from diet to diet? Are you struggling to figure out what is truly and really healthy for you to eat?  Do you feel tired, gassy, or bloated after eating?

These are questions I had to ask myself too. My struggle and journey with food began when I was in high school. I thought I was eating really healthy but little did I know. I would bring a salad with chicken or  turkey sandwich for lunch everyday and a side of either 100 calorie pack or Wheat Thins and I thought I was being really healthy. I was eating a low calorie, high protein, vegetable diet. But, what I didn’t know, was that I was eating a lot of chemicals: pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, and hormones that were all hidden in my food. When I went to college, I learned what a Genetically Modified Organism is, what organic food is, and what a real healthy diet actually was. And so I learned, that a Genetically Modified Organism is a plant or animal that is created through the process of Genetic Engineering (GE). Genetic Engineering is when you force the DNA of one species into a different species DNA. This is NOT natural. This does NOT occur in nature. This is made in a lab. And most of the reason why they make GMO food like corn is so that you can spray more pesticides or herbicides on the crop without killing the crop itself. So you are only killing the pests around it but not the actual crop. Organic food is non-gmo. You cannot have GMO’s in organic food. In organic food, you don’t use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. And then, there is conventionally grown food where you spray pesticides, herbicides, and use synthetic fertilizers. So, I learned these three very important terms: Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), Organic food, and conventionally grown food. So, I began to do research. What is really a healthy diet? Is it really calories in calories out? Is that what a healthy diet really is? And then I got my answer. No. It comes back to Reiki, energy, and vibration.

Remember everything is energy. Everything has a vibration. In Reiki, it is all about increasing our Ki, life energy, right? When our key is high, we are more susceptible to health, happiness, and joy. And when our ki is low, we are more susceptible to disease and sadness. And so, food is the same way. Food has a vibration. Food has energy. And very low vibration foods like Genetically Modified Organisms affect your body and your vibration. And so, eating a really healthy diet is not about calories in or calories out, it is really about counting the chemicals and eating high vibrational foods.

What are high vibrational foods? High vibrational foods are organic produce, fruits and vegetables and organic grains. Those are the highest vibrational foods. Those are what gives your body what it needs to thrive and live. Eighty percent of processed food is genetically modified. The only way you know if something is not genetically modified is if it has the non-gmo verified seal on it or a USDA Organic seal on it.

This is all about what is a healthy diet. A healthy diet is about eating wholesome foods that really raise your vibration instead of lowering your vibration. We can eat foods, and foods can be our best medicine or our very slow poison. So, one aspect of having a healthy diet is to know that we want to lean more towards having an organic plant-based diet. And I know that isn’t always possible. For me it was a really big transition going from salad and turkey sandwiches to green juices and eating more fruits and vegetables. That was a really hard transition. It goes one step at a time. It is a process. It is a practice. It is about baby steps. And that is how I got to where I am today.

The second aspect of eating a healthy diet is knowing your body. As Reiki people, or energy people, or people interested in Reiki, we become much more aware and sensitive to our bodies and energies around us. And so when we are eating foods that have low energy, it is affecting us. It is affecting our vibration. It is affecting us. And so, you can know yourself. When you eat a food, notice how does your body react? Am I getting gassy? Am I getting bloated? Do I feel fatigued? If you have any of those signs, your body is telling you something. Listen. And I know this can be really, really hard. I have a kind of not so funny story to tell you about me.

So, I’ve been asking Reiki for guidance for about four years now, “Reiki help me. I am so drained. I am so fatigued. Help me find a doctor that can help me. Help me find a chiropractor that can help me. Help me. Help me. Help me.” And I asked, and Reiki always gives me the answer. It is just am I willing to listen to the answer? So, I went and saw many chiropractors, alternative health care doctors and even Reiki Master Teachers and practitioners asking “why am I so drained and fatigued all the time?” It’s gluten. You’re allergic to gluten. And I knew when I was younger that I had celiac’s disease, that I was allergic to gluten but for some reason, I thought I grew out of it. And so, along, all these years, Reiki has been telling me here is your answer. I just didn’t want to listen because I thought this is so hard to stop eating gluten, I’m in college, I love pizza, how am I going to do this? And one day, I finally committed, all right I am going to try it and then my whole entire world changed. Once I started listening to my body instead of fighting against my body and fighting against the signs Reiki had been showing me about food. And I realized there is a difference between feeling completely exhausted and tired from not sleeping enough.  And so, once I gave up gluten and listened to my body that when I eat gluten I get fatigued. I can sleep for 10 hours and still wake up tired and then when I don’t eat gluten I don’t feel that way. My body was telling me something. Reiki was guiding me the whole entire time. I was just choosing not to listen.

So there is two aspects to a healthy diet. First, the aspect of eating high vibrational, organic, locally grown, plant based diet and second, as you become more sensitive you become more aware of your body, you listen to what your body has to say to you. You know what foods your body can eat and make you feel good. You just have to listen. And I know, trust me, I know that it is hard to sometimes listen to your body. But that is what we are going to be doing here today, together. We are going to be creating an energetic pathway so that you can easily and effortlessly eat a high vibrational diet that is perfect right for you. So, that you can listen to your body and know what foods are good for you.

So getting comfortable sitting up nice and tall or maybe laying down. However, you can sustain yourself. So, if you are sitting up, sitting up nice and tall, elongating your spine, closing your eyes, and just start to focus on your breathe. Focusing on the inhale and the exhale. Trying to take deep, long, slow breaths. Inhaling, exhaling. Becoming present, letting go of your story, letting go of anything that may be on your mind right now, letting go of your to-do list, letting go of expectations, allowing yourself to be present for the next few minutes as we create your energetic pathway for Reiki for a healthy diet. Keeping your eyes closed, I am going to start to beam you Reiki as you mentally repeat after me:

Starting to visualize, feel, sense or know in your third eye what it feels like and looks like for you to eat a high vibrational, healthy diet. See yourself drinking green juices or green smoothies, or eating chia seed pudding, or a big quinoa, kale, sweet potato salad. Whatever it is. Just visualize yourself what it would look like and feel like to eat a healthy diet. How happy, joyful, and full of energy you would feel. Hold that in your mind’s eye. As, I beam you Reiki to that image. Reiki thank you for guiding me to eating a healthy, high vibrational diet. Placing your hands over your heart, knowing that you deserve to eat a healthy, high vibrational diet. When you are ready, slowly flickering your eyes open.

We have just created an energetic pathway that will help you easily and effortlessly eat a healthier, high vibrational diet.
